JiveRoc Dance caters to two different client needs, first dance choreography for weddings and weekly group classes for beginners to develop partner dancing technique.
Private sessions are offered to wedding couples who would like either a choreographed first dance routine or just some dance move ideas for you to freestyle with confidence. We specialize in complete beginners but if you have dance experience we can work with you to your own ability level. We take elements of Swing, Jive and Salsa and break them down to a beginner level. Basic lead and follow techniques are taught to prepare beginners for other styles of partner dancing. This style of dance is perfect for wedding receptions, black tie events, dinner dances and similar occasions. Please check the ‘Classes’ tab for more information.
